FAQs

When can we check-in and when do we have to check-out?

We can’t wait to welcome you! Check-in time is from 3pm on the day of arrival and check-out time is at 11am on the morning of your departure.  If you wish for an earlier arrival or later check-out, please contact us and we will do our very best to accommodate this.

Good Morning – What time is breakfast?

Our fabulous breakfast is served between 7am and 10am daily. Please advise if you require an early breakfast upon check-in. Our breakfast menu is beautifully varied with both deliciously wholesome and richly indulgent options.

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, but just to let you know we are in the heart of the New Forest so it won’t be as fast paced as you perhaps are used too.

Can I book a specific room?

We cannot guarantee specific rooms within a room type. However, we will always try our best to accommodate you if you have a preference.

Are little ones welcome?

We want to ensure that everyone enjoys a relaxed and tranquil stay at Burley Manor, which is why we only welcome children over 13 years overnight. If you have younger children, Bartley Lodge, Beaulieu Inn Forest Lodge and Moorhill House welcome families with little ones.

And remember, little ones and pre-teens are more than welcome to join us for lunch in our restaurant or to attend weddings and celebrations in the barns.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! Furry friends are welcome at Burley Manor in our Classic and Deluxe rooms, as well as our Garden and Burley Suites.

For just £30 for your first dog and £15 for your second, they will receive their own dog mat and welcome bag of delicious healthy treats, with special bowls to eat and drink from. There are even ‘wash pipes’ for muddy paws fresh back from walkies.

While you dine we respectively ask you to leave your dog in your room, as dogs are not allowed in our restaurants or leisure areas. We do of course allow assistance dogs in the dining room – and they can join you in the bar for a nightcap too.

We allow a maximum of two dogs per room and these must be over one-year-old. Depending on the room type reserved, we may later the number of dogs allowed and dogs are not permitted on beds or furniture.

Dogs are not permitted in our Deer View Hut.

How far is the nearest train station?

The nearest train stations are New Milton (7 miles) and Brockenhurst (9 miles).

Is there on-site parking?

There’s complimentary on-site car parking for all guests, but please be aware there is additional parking at the rear of the Manor should the front car park appear full. This includes charging points for electric cars and designated disabled parking spaces.

Is there a hairdryer in the room?

Don’t worry – all of our rooms are equipped with hairdryers.

Are you accessible?

We have two accessible Garden Suites, located on the ground-floor with accessible bathrooms including an adapted shower cubicle and handrails around the toilet and sink. These rooms can be accessed from the rear of the Manor. Please note that the Manor is Grade-II listed and the main entrance is via a step leading to the front door. Upon request, a ramp can be provided for wheelchair access.

The main house is located over two floors. Please note that we do not have a lift. We can allocate rooms on the first floor should this be required subject to availability.

Do you ever require more than one night?

There is a two night minimum stay when booking a Saturday night. Otherwise, there are no minimum nights needed for any bookings.

What is your cancellation policy?

If Covid restrictions prevent travel we are operating a flexible full cancellation policy.

On our best available rates, you can cancel your reservation up to 48-hours prior to your arrival date without charge. A notification of cancellation after this time, will result in payment being taken for the first night of your stay. Our pre-paid rates that require advance payment are non-refundable – these bookings cannot be cancelled or amended.

Is there a spa?

There are two single treatment rooms and one double treatment room offering an extensive choice of Temple Spa and Burley signature treatments.

Our outdoor wellness pool is open seasonally from July through to September (*subject to change) for residents and those enjoying a treatment.

Are you able to cater for allergens or special dietary requests?

We cater to all dietary needs. Please email burleymanor@newfoesthotels.co.uk if you have any special requests before arrival. You’ll find all our menus online including our plant based and grains menus, suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

What time is the restaurant open?

The restaurant is open daily from 7am weekdays and 8am on weekends. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. We recommend that you reserve a table in the restaurant before arrival as we are unable to guarantee a table during busy times if a reservation has not been made. Bar classics are available between 12pm and 9pm daily in our lounges.
